The image above was one of many conferences, but this one was IDS Cologne, the largest dental conference in the world. I spent a week here speaking to dentists and patients to better understand how we could position the product, the website, content and associated SEO strategies towards their regions in Europe.
By constantly testing and versioning the website we were able to lead users through a preplanned user journey without ever delving into any dark UX. It was transparency, clarity and creativity that got the right information to the right types of users. Notably patients were looking for very different information to the dentists or pharmacists. These trade offs could only be managed through the insights drawn in Crazy Egg and KISSMetrics.
